1. What information is collected ?
Any information you enter during the submission of forms or an order on any of AquaMutant’s websites may be collected and stored in our database. In order to better define the type of information that is collected, we have identified and grouped it into three categories:
- Personal information;
- General non-specific and demographic information; related log; and
- Customer proprietary network information
When you use our Cloud Recording service, we may also collect video clips, photos, and other media files you want to upload in our service.
Our payment processing is hosted by our e-commerce solutions provider. They host our ordering system, and collect your billing information directly from you for the purpose of processing your payment. This company does not use this information for any other purpose.
General Non-Specific and Demographic Information
We may combine this information with other information we collect about you. We do this to provide our services to you, improve services we offer you, to improve marketing, analytics, or site functionality. Once combined, the resulting data is protected as personal information as described in this Policy.
As is true of most web sites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, sensor data/log and/or clickstream data.
We may combine this automatically collected log information with other information we collect about you. We do this to improve services we offer you, to improve marketing, analytics, or site functionality.
Customer Proprietary Network Information
Should we provide telecommunications services to you, we may collect and maintain certain customer proprietary network information (“CPNI”). Your CPNI might include the types of telecommunications services you receive, usage information, user IDs and passwords, billing and transaction information.
2. What do we use the information for ?
In order to provide you with the best online experience possible, we collect both your personal and non-personal information to give us a better understanding of the demographic and geographic profile. The information we collect is reviewed closely to assist us in determining the most popular products of interest to you, update you on new services and benefits, to personalize our website for you and to better design our products and site(s) to suit your needs.
By tracking your IP address through our site, we can better understand the types of products and services and information that are relevant to you, and may from time to time use this information to provide you with information or promotions that match your various geographical and demographic dynamics.
From time to time, we may send surveys to you via email or online through our websites in order to solicit feedback on improvements we should make to our products and services and/or websites. These surveys are completed on a voluntary basis and personal and general information are not required. Refusal to complete the survey or poll will not result in any penalization of the customer(s) standings with our organization. Should you not wish to receive notification of subsequent surveys or polls, you can click the link supplied at the bottom of every promotional email we send you to request that you not receive such notifications in the future.
We may also run contests and/or sweepstakes at different times. By entering the sweepstakes you agree to disclose your personal information for our use in future marketing campaigns. Your consent for our use of your information may be a condition of your participation and eligibility for any such contest or sweepstakes.
In some cases we may combine web usage information related to your access to our websites with personal information. We use the combined information to provide our customers and web visitors with a better online experience by providing customized features, services, and advertising. Once combined, the resulting data is protected as personal information as described in this Policy.
